I am a Ph.D. candidate in Human Geography with a research focus on the spatial aspects of crime. My work explores how place matters for crime through quantitative methods such as Risk Terrain Modeling, with an emphasis on prediction and spatial risk assessment. I am particularly interested in how place influences crime patterns, collaborative crime prevention and intimate partner violence.
In my teaching, I primarily focus on GIS-based methods and spatial analysis.
