Current research:
In the context of soil recuperation in the process of addressing the green transition of the agricultural sector, my research focuses on the enactment of low-lying carbon rich soils (lowlands) among farmers, scientists, and public authorities in rural Denmark. I explore historically contradictory practices and politics of environmental conservation and recuperation by investigating contemporary enactments through more-than-human relations, technologies, and policies in search for future landscapes. Thus, my research revolves around negotiations of different kinds of knowledge and how knowledge and practices are incorporated or circumvented in the green transition of the agricultural sector.
