Collect reserach material abroad
Sida’s MFS scholarship is aimed at students on Bachelor's and Master's levels who would like to collect research material in a developing country for their degree theses. During at least eight weeks of field studies, the students have an opportunity to deepen their knowledge in a discipline of their choice. The application process for the MFS scholarship of SEK 27 000 is centralized within the University.
MFS scholarship
The scholarship of 27 000 Swedish kronor is intended to cover travel expenses as well as field costs during the stay. In order to apply for MFS you have to accomplish 150 credits and:
- be a Swedish citizen
- be a Nordic citizen who was registered in Sweden for at least one year
- have a permanent residency permit in Sweden
