In my PhD project I look at various aspects of waste governance, and over the last years, I have been following the establishment of a circular economy agenda in Danish waste management. I have recently been working on a manuscript where I conceptualise the Danish circular economy agenda as a transformative innovation policy and draw on the Danish case to engage in debates about the multi-level governance of innovation policy for transformative change.
I am now moving on to focus on issues concerning the role of expertise in waste governance and exploring decision-making under uncertainty.
My PhD is part of the MISTRA funded program STEPS (Sustainable Plastics and Transition Pathways), which focuses on sustainable plastics. I am part of the third work package that focuses on issues of governance towards more sustainable plastics. For more information on STEPS, see: https://steps-mistra.se/
